Yarb Apothecary

Ozark Roots, Living Medicine
Emily and Sarah Benton are sisters, herbalists, and the founders of Yarb Apothecary, an Arkansas-based practice rooted in the belief that plants connect people to place, health, and community. Drawing inspiration from traditional herbal knowledge, seasonal rhythms, and the landscapes of Arkansas, they create herbal products that encourage people to slow down and cultivate deeper relationships with the natural world.
Through Yarb Apothecary, the sisters share accessible approaches to plant stewardship and wellness while honoring generations of folk knowledge surrounding native and cultivated herbs. Their work reflects a growing movement to reconnect everyday life with the healing traditions, stories, and ecological wisdom embedded in local landscapes.
Together, Emily and Sarah demonstrate how contemporary makers can carry forward traditional practices, blending education, creativity, and care into experiences that invite people to engage more intentionally with the plants and places around them.
