Yarb Apothecary

Ozark Roots, Living Medicine
"Yarb" is the dialectal form of the word "herb" used by Ozark Hill Folk. Yarb Land is a sisters-run practice rooted in the hills of Northwest Arkansas, on Osage Territory, where they grow and craft bioregional herbal medicine, host herbal workshops, and tend the land with ecological reverence.

All herbs are organically grown on the Yarb Farm, ethically wildcrafted, or sourced from small-scale US herb farms — planted, harvested, bottled, and labeled entirely by hand. Their practice draws on the vitalist tradition, blending clinical and folk methods, with over a decade of study through the School of Evolutionary Herbalism.
The name itself is a gesture toward belonging and rootedness — a connective thread to Ozark ancestors and the folk traditions documented by Vance Randolph and Mary Parlor, while actively acknowledging and honoring the indigenous peoples of the land they call home.
