Crescent Dragonwagon is a James Beard Award-winning cookbook writer, storyteller, and former restaurateur and innkeeper. She moved to the Ozarks in 1972 as part of the back-to-the-land movement. She brings warmth, wit, and deep curiosity to food, place, comfort, and community. Her books include The Cornbread Gospels, Bean by Bean, and Dairy Hollow House Soup & Bread. She lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
