Access for all

Everyone belongs at Arkansas Folklife Festival. We’re committed to creating an inclusive experience for all visitors.

Getting around

Mobility and accessibility services

We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable, and able to fully experience the Arkansas Folklife Festival. The festival grounds feature mostly flat terrain with a combination of grass and paved pathways, making it easy to move throughout the site. Every stage, vendor area, and festival facility is accessible.

Our Accessibility Tent, marked on the festival map, serves as a central hub for mobility support and resources. Visitors can access designated golf cart transportation, and a limited number of manual wheelchairs and walkers are available to borrow in both adult and child sizes. Mobility transportation will also be available for participants joining the Harmonizing Together: Movement Music Parade, and an accessible viewing area with reserved seating will be available on the North Little Rock side of the bridge.

Reserved seating for disabled visitors is also available at the front of the Main Stage, and the Cultural Crossroads Stage features an ADA-compliant dance floor so everyone can join in the celebration.

Accessible parking is available in the East Lot near the Arkansas Heritage bus area and is clearly marked on the festival map.

If you have questions or need assistance during your visit, stop by the Accessibility Tent—we’re here to help make your festival experience enjoyable, welcoming, and accessible for all.
