Mark Abernathy
From Juanita’s to SoMa: a half-century of Little Rock craft.
Mark Abernathy is an award-winning Arkansas chef, restaurateur, musician, and civic leader with 55 years in the hospitality industry. Founder of Juanita’s, Loca Luna, Red Door, and other iconic restaurants, he is a recipient of the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame. Abernathy helped shape Little Rock through preservation, tourism, music, and community leadership, including efforts that created SoMa and saved historic Taborian Hall.
