The Arkansas Woman
Iyuana Childs is a native of Osceola, Arkansas, currently residing in West Memphis, Arkansas. She is a wife, mother of four, and grandmother of one. Iyuana is multifaceted in the arts as an actor, singer, dancer, poet, songwriter, and licensed cosmetologist. She is a recording artist signed to One Prize Records based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her musical journey, Iyuana has shared stages with artists such as Calvin Richardson, Antonio Armani, 803 Fresh, and the legendary Bobby Rush just to name a few.
Iyuana prides herself on being a “UniverSOUL” artist, embodying Gospel, Rhythm & Blues, Southern Soul, Country, Jazz, etc. She adopted the nickname “Arkansas Woman” after releasing her single (Arkansas Woman) in April of 2024. In 2025, Iyuana released Ridin & Slidin. Both songs are family friendly and accompanied by original line dances choreographed by Iyuana.
Iyuana is a woman of humility and is grateful for the opportunity to share her gifts in her community and abroad. Iyuana’s ultimate goal as an artist and entertainer is to impact the lives of others wherever she goes and to leave a legacy for her children’s children.
