Alison Lee
Steward of Ozark heritage and the wild Buffalo.
Alison Lee is the current Chair of the Committee of 100 for the Ozark Folk Center, a citizen organization committed to supporting one of Arkansas’s most significant living heritage institutions. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law and an honors English degree from the University of Arkansas.
In addition to her work with the Committee of 100, Lee serves as President of the Buffalo River Foundation and as an executive board member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Her cross-disciplinary leadership reflects a long commitment to Arkansas’s natural, cultural, and civic life.
At the Arkansas Folklife Festival, Lee appears in conversation with traditional musician Pam Setser to discuss the evolving legacy of the Committee of 100 and its role in sustaining the Ozark Folk Center.
