The Tie Hackers

Original country rock from an Ozark logger and his band.
Equally at home with a chainsaw and a choker cable or a fiddle and guitar, Roy Pilgrim writes original music drawing from his experience running a logging business in the Arkansas Ozarks. The Tie Hackers hail from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and include Paul McGowen on electric guitar and dobro, Matt Norwood on drums, and Aviva Pilgrim on bass.
Their name nods to the Ozark woodsmen who hand-hewed railroad ties from the white oak forests of the Arkansas hills, a piece of history the band carries forward in song and spirit.
