The Meadow Makers

Two voices, one cabin, and a fresh take on Arkansas folk.
Meadow Makers is a melodic and vocal-driven folk duo from Northwest Arkansas, composed of Dana Louise and Noah Richmond. From their backwoods cabin in the Boston Mountains, the sweetheart pair have spent recent years raising a kiddo, building a homestead, and learning to live and write within a new normal.
Their diverse musical backgrounds and shared love of songwriting come together in a fresh, intimate take on traditional folk: tight harmonies, lyrical storytelling, and a willingness to clear paths where there were none. Whether they’re playing bars, barns, festivals, or house concerts, Meadow Makers strive to connect with audiences on a higher plane.
At the Arkansas Folklife Festival, the duo brings their cabin-grown songs to the Cultural Crossroads Stage on Saturday afternoon.
