The Legacy Gospel Choir

Voices That Carry the Spirit
Gospel music is one of America’s most powerful contributions to the world’s music, and its roots run deep through Black Arkansas communities. From small Delta churches to the great congregations of Little Rock, gospel choirs have carried Sunday‑morning worship, civil rights anthems, and a uniquely Arkansas vocal sound across generations.
The Legacy Gospel Choir brings that lineage to the Arkansas Folklife Festival main stage with the harmonies, call‑and‑response, and unmistakable energy of the Black church tradition.
