Joycelyn Thomas and the JT Line Dancers of Little Rock, Arkansas Inc.
Step, Slide, Repeat
Joycelyn Thomas leads the JT Line Dancers, an Arkansas group dedicated to the art and joy of line dancing. With roots in country, soul, R&B, and disco, line dancing has become a uniquely communal American social dance form, accessible to dancers of any age or experience level.
At the Arkansas Folklife Festival, Joycelyn and the JT Line Dancers lead participants through choreographed steps, share the history and style of popular line dances, and invite festival-goers of all skill levels onto the floor.
