The Widder Wilcox *

The Widder Wilcox is Tina Marie Wilcox, who served as Head Gardener at the Ozark Folk Center’s Heritage Herb Garden in Mountain View, Arkansas from 1984 through 2025. Across four decades, she learned and taught the names, uses, lore, and characters of the plants that have grown in Arkansas kitchens, medicine cabinets, dye pots, and gardens for generations.

Now Head Gardener and Herbalist Emerita, Wilcox takes the Front Porch venue for a session of plant talk, herbal stories, and the kind of conversation that only happens between people who know the ground they are standing on.
